Fall is almost here ya’ll but that doesn’t mean we all need to start sobbing…

With a new season come new events, places, and things to do so to get you stoked, I gathered a list of 55 things you need to add to your September social calendar to ease into the colder weather a tad easier.

September 1 to September 15

Les Siècles Opening Weekend
Join downtown’s newest club from August 31st to September 2nd to celebrate their opening!
Get ready to have fun in style with premium cocktails, select DJs dance-offs…obviously.

Hip Hop and Tacos
The title says it all, hip hop and tacos await you at Les Jardineries. With an epic musical program, ping-pong, mini-putt, and a slew of tacos, this is a legit recipe for delicious success.

Disco au Pied-du-Courant
To celebrate the arrival of September, a disco party is going down at Pied-du-Courant! On the program: the godfather of disco, Robert Ouimet. Fred Everything, a house music specialist, who is preparing a special disco set, and Stéphane Lavoie, a great disco collector will also be on site to help you get your boogie on!

Village au Pied-du-Courant

First Fridays
Every First Friday, until October, the biggest food truck rally in Canada takes place at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium, on the Esplanade Financière Sun Life. Get your grub on!

Infinite Summer

Tête Carrée MTL

Outlying market stall situated in Jean-Talon market serving a mixture of Portuguese and Lebanese cuisine. Not to be fooled by the short menu and one-man crew, experienced chef Josh Lauridsen dishes out aesthetically pleasing dishes with the utmost taste. From sweet and savory flatbreads (the main attraction) to more divine options like grilled squid with herbs or a prosciutto lobster wrap, Lauridsen’s countertop is enveloped in a selection of fresh herbs to be plucked for drinks and food alike.

First Caturday
First Caturday is a day to reclaim the glory of the outdoors for your feline friends! It’s all about outdoor cat-napping and socializing. So bring Garfield along to this cat-extravaganza at Park Villeray. Meow.

Harry Potter Brunch
The magical wizard brunch is back ya’ll! New concept, new menu, but just as many surprises and some of your favourite characters MIGHT just stop by. Wink.

Revolution
A musical odyssey that explores the ideals and aspirations of the late 1960s as expressed in music, film, fashion and design. This immersive exhibition from the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum, London, comes to Montréal just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Expo 67.
When: Until October 9

Mile-Ex End Music Festival
Despite this being Mile-Ex Festival’s inaugural year, they have already managed to secure a killer lineup. Some performers include City and Colour, Patrick Watson, Cat Power, Charlotte Cardin and more. Passes are just $50 for one day or $90 for two. Food trucks on site!

Piknic Electronik

Outdoor electronic music event located in close proximity to downtown Montreal. With four weekends left of the summer series, artists like Alix, Sebastien Leger, The W4rriors and many are yet to come!

Electro Parade
In honour of the city’s 375th anniversary, Evenko and MEG Montreal have teamed up to bring the first-ever electronic parade to North America and its FREE! Starting from the base of Mount Royal (on Park Avenue) all the way to Place des Festival in Quartier des Spectacles, get ready for a crazy street party that will bring together thousands of people to dance and party alongside epic DJs.

Festival YUL Eat
A unique culinary event that will highlight local gastronomical talent and bring together leaders of the restaurant industry worldwide for a weekend of tasting, learning, and discovery in Old Montreal. Live music included.

Somwhr on Labour Day
Somwhr on Labour Day hosted by Party Montreal with DJ’s CRK & Meddy! Come and experience the sexiest club in Old Montreal and get ready to party your face off. Literally.

Arcade Fire Live
Montreal’s favourites indie rockers will be taking over the Bell Centre with opening act Wolf Parade. This might just be one of the best live shows you’ll see.

Exponential: a Creative Conference on Redesigning Community

Ancient Future Festival
Emerging from a desire to create something new on the scene, Ancient Future is a multidisciplinary festival combining musical disciplines, visual arts, and circus arts set in Old Montreal.

Art Tattoo Show
For the past 15 years, the Art Tattoo Montréal is the premier event celebration of the art of tattooing, its artists, and its community. The artists present at the convention represent all styles of tattooing ranging from the traditional Japanese tebori to dot work. Get inked.

YogaTribes Sound Off
Hundreds of people will get to share a sensory and aural experience that combines yoga, music by Selena Isles (aka DJ Serious Black) and the breathtaking views of the city and the Lachine Canal. Beginners totally welcome!

Canadian Triathalon

Taking place at the Olympic Basin and on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, the Espirit Triathalon welcomes athletes of all ages and levels to both attend and participate. Chosen by Triathalon Quebec as the “Event of the Year in 2015,” this is an event not to be missed!

Dime Glory Challenge Presented by DC Shoes
Dime and DC Shoes join forces to bring forth the 2017 Glory Challenge. 50 handpicked skateboarders will come together in Montreal, Canada to compete in a series of carefully thought-out challenges.

Cirque Éloize in the Plateau

Cirque Éloize invites everyone who loves Montréal to the 375th’s Grande tournée to celebrate the city’s different boroughs. Come discover your neighbourhood and explore adjacent districts in a festive, carnival ambiance! This time around, the circus makes it’s stop at La Fontaine Park.

Oysterfest
Get ready to shuck some oysters, drink some amazing cocktails, people watch, party, eat your hearts out, and support the Open Pier Conservatory, a non-profit group devoted to protecting the worlds precious waterways and aquatic life. The fun takes place in Old Montreal, as always.

Loft Nail Bar Opening
A new place to pamper your hands and feet is opening today in Old Montreal. Le Loft Nail Bar will provide a comfortable luxurious experience by its pampering treatments, products and by offering complimentary lattes and cappucinos in collaboration with Cafe Ligeois, a local business. In addition to that, a homemade juice bar will be available for anyone that wishes to purchase healthy drinks during their visit.

Kids POP

This kid-friendly segment of Pop Montreal provides a place for children of all ages to discover music, learn about environmental issues and showcase their own creativity. This free event is returning with it’s popular Kids POP Crawl while adding screen printing workshops and a blend of karaoke and live music.

Talking Windows in Ville-Marie
You’re invited to get up close and personal to balconies and windows and discuss what you see. Ontario st. and Cartier and Dorion Diasol will become a living gallery space that ignites conversation between visitors, artists and residents. During this intriguing urban event, you’ll have the chance to discover a totally unique art exhibition.

POP Montreal International Music Festival
Now entering its 16th year, POP Montreal’s main event is a five-day long festival of music and art, presenting more than 450 bands. A true feast for the eyes and ears if you’re a true music and art connoisseur.

Kids4Kids Boozy Golf Tournament

The Brush-Off Project

Galerie Avenue Art is holding it’s 6th Canadian “Brush Off” juried painting competition highlighting contemporary artists and raising funds for art-based programs that enrich the lives of people living with Alzheimer’s. Held at the Westmount Square, the evening will be filled with wine, food pairings, entertainment and artwork for purchase. All submission from artists within the Mountain Lake Region, Adirondacks, Champlain Valley & Upstate New York are welcome.

Puces POP

More than just an art fair, this event features 85 vendors of intricately made art, craft and design. Located in the plateau, come find everything from intricately handmade clothing and home goods to body products and tasty treats.

Sessions 375 X POP Montreal

The fourth and final event of Session 375 series, POP Montreal will host an entire day of free events including live music, food trucks, a new lounge and family activities. All the action will take place at POP Montreal’s daytime and nighttime headquarters, at l’ancienne École des beaux-arts (3450 St-Urbain) and the Rialto Complex (5723-5719 Ave. du Parc). Performances will include music by RZA: Live from the 36th Chamber of Shaolin, Orkestar Kriminal, Klô Pelgag, Aba & Preach, Bonjay, Lunice and Kid Koala’s Vinyl Vaudeville.

Canadian Open Dance Championships
